Overview
Business identity: Pixorizon is a sole proprietorship operated by Alexander Werle in Manitoba, Canada. In these Terms, “Pixorizon,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Alexander Werle carrying on business as Pixorizon.
Pixorizon provides website design and development services for service-based businesses, along with two separate services: Google Profile + Review Setup (with an optional Review Follow-Up System) and Missed-Call Text Back. Two website paths are publicly offered: the Managed Website (free for the first 30 calendar days after public launch, then $99 CAD per month, with no fixed-term commitment) and the Custom Website for clients who want to own their website files ($2,500 CAD one-time). Website owners may optionally add Pixorizon Website Care ($49 CAD/month) for ongoing hosting and technical maintenance. Website work outside an included allowance or scope is handled as Additional Design & Development at $85 CAD/hour, confirmed in writing before work begins.
These terms describe how each service works. When a client accepts a written proposal or signs a service agreement with Pixorizon, that document and these terms apply together to the engagement, and the signed or accepted document controls if the two conflict. A client who accepted earlier terms or an earlier proposal remains governed by the terms they accepted.
Managed Website — First Month Free, Then $99 CAD/Month
Price, free period, and billing
The Managed Website has no upfront design or build fee. The first 30 calendar days after the Launch Date are free ($0). After that, the service is $99 CAD per month.
Launch Date means the date the client’s completed website is first made publicly accessible at the client’s domain (or another public address agreed in writing). The free period begins on the Launch Date, which counts as day 1, and runs for 30 calendar days. It does not begin when the client first contacts Pixorizon, when an agreement is signed or accepted, when work starts, while the website is being designed or built, or when a preview is sent.
Billing begins on the day after the free period ends. The payment due that day covers the first paid month, and the service is then billed monthly in advance on the same day each month while it remains active. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes, if any, are additional. Pixorizon will confirm in writing, before billing begins, how payment will be collected.
What is included
The Managed Website includes up to 5 personalized website pages with a business-specific design, a responsive build, hosting and SSL while the service is active, routine technical maintenance, a contact or quote-request form, basic on-page SEO structure, and two structured revision rounds before launch. It also includes two small content updates per month, limited to approximately 30 minutes of combined work. Unused monthly update time does not roll over. Major updates, new pages, new functionality, and extensive copywriting are not small updates — that work is Additional Design & Development, described under Revisions & Scope below. Pixorizon uses reasonable efforts to keep the website available but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
No fixed term; cancelling
The Managed Website has no fixed-duration term and no minimum number of months. It continues month-to-month until cancelled by the client or ended under these terms.
The client may cancel at any time by emailing hello@pixorizon.ca. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the client’s current service period — the free period if the client cancels during it, or the monthly period already paid for if the client cancels after billing has begun. Notice should be sent before the next billing date to avoid a further charge; no charge is made for any period after the one in which cancellation takes effect. A monthly payment already made is not prorated or refunded, except where required by applicable law. A client who cancels during the free period is not charged. A client may cancel before launch at any time; no Managed Website payment will have been due.
Pixorizon may suspend or end the service if a payment fails or remains overdue after written notice, if the website is used unlawfully or in breach of these terms, or if Pixorizon discontinues the service, in which case it will give at least 30 days’ notice by email, except where immediate action is needed for legal or security reasons.
Ownership and licence
The Managed Website is a managed service, not an installment purchase. Pixorizon retains ownership of the Managed Website implementation, including the website design, source code, website files, other Pixorizon-created work, and reusable Pixorizon components. While the service is active, Pixorizon grants the client a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Managed Website for the client’s business.
The client retains ownership of their own materials, including their business name, domain, logo, trademarks, original photographs and videos, copy the client supplied, and other client-owned content. The client grants Pixorizon permission to use those materials to build, host, and maintain the website.
When the service ends
When the Managed Website service ends, the website is taken offline after the applicable current service period. Cancellation does not transfer ownership, and the website design, code, and files are not automatically delivered to the client. On request made within a reasonable time after the service ends, Pixorizon will provide copies of the client’s own materials that it holds, such as logos and photographs. The client remains responsible for their domain and any domain settings.
Purchasing ownership; monthly payments do not create ownership
A client who wants to own their Managed Website files may purchase ownership for $2,500 CAD one-time under a short written ownership-transfer agreement. Monthly Managed Website payments are payment for the managed service. They do not accumulate equity, do not count toward the $2,500 CAD ownership price, and do not reduce it, unless Pixorizon expressly agrees otherwise in writing. Reusable Pixorizon components and third-party materials remain subject to their own licences.
Custom Website (Own Your Website) — $2,500 CAD One-Time
The Custom Website is a one-time project priced at $2,500 CAD, paid as a 50% deposit to begin and a 50% final payment before launch and file transfer. It includes up to 8 website pages, a responsive build, two structured revision rounds before launch, basic on-page SEO structure, a contact or quote-request form, and domain, SSL, and hosting-account configuration. Ownership of the completed website files transfers to the client after full payment.
Third-party domain expenses are paid by the client. After final payment, the client may either manage hosting independently — with no ongoing Pixorizon website fee — or continue with Pixorizon through the optional Website Care service described below. Subscribing to Website Care does not transfer ownership of the website back to Pixorizon or otherwise change the client’s ownership of the completed files.
Website Care — $49 CAD/Month
Website Care is an optional service for clients who own their completed website files, such as Custom Website clients. It is billed at $49 CAD per month, in advance, with no fixed term — it is month-to-month, and the client may cancel before the next billing period. Current billing periods are not automatically prorated or refunded, except where required by applicable law.
Website Care includes managed hosting, SSL, backups, basic security and technical maintenance, and reasonable uptime and operational oversight for the existing website build. Domain registration and renewal remain separate client-paid costs, as do any third-party premium software, licences, or integrations not explicitly included in writing.
Website Care does not include the Managed Website’s monthly content-update allowance, new pages, new sections, redesigns, custom functionality, integrations, major copy or content changes, or ongoing SEO. Requests of this kind are handled as Additional Design & Development, described below. Website Care does not transfer ownership of the website to Pixorizon — the client continues to own the completed website files.
If Website Care is cancelled, hosting and technical maintenance continue through the end of the paid billing period. After Website Care ends, the client is responsible for arranging replacement hosting. Cancelling Website Care does not affect the client’s ownership of their website files.
Revisions & Scope
Both website paths include two structured revision rounds before launch. Additional revisions, and any website work Pixorizon agrees to perform outside an included scope or monthly update allowance — such as new pages, new sections, major layout or design changes, extensive copywriting, custom functionality, or integrations — are handled as Additional Design & Development at $85 CAD/hour unless separately quoted. Scope and the expected cost are confirmed in writing, and the client’s approval is required, before this work begins; for larger, clearly defined projects, Pixorizon may instead provide a separate fixed-price quote.
E-commerce, online stores, and advanced integrations are not included in the standard Managed Website or Custom Website and are scoped separately. Advertising management and ongoing SEO campaigns are also outside the scope of all website options unless separately quoted in writing. Hosting is included while the Managed Website or Website Care service is active; otherwise hosting costs are the client’s responsibility.
Google Profile + Review Setup — $79 CAD One-Time
Google Profile + Review Setup is a separate, one-time service priced at $79 CAD. It is not a website package or website add-on. Scope is limited to a Google Business Profile checkup, profile description and business-copy cleanup where appropriate, direct Google review-link setup, a branded review-request page or equivalent asset, ready-to-use SMS and email review-request wording, a QR review card or downloadable QR asset, review-reply templates, and clear written instructions delivered asynchronously by email. No monthly subscription is required to purchase this setup. Work begins after payment or written approval, depending on the final sales process.
The client must provide accurate business information and any account access reasonably required to complete the setup. The client remains responsible for compliance with Google’s policies and applicable laws. Pixorizon does not create, buy, write, or post customer reviews, and does not offer fake reviews, incentivized reviews, or review gating. Pixorizon does not guarantee ratings, review quantity, Google rankings, or profile approval or reinstatement. Third-party platform decisions (including Google’s ranking, indexing, review-removal, verification, suspension, and reinstatement decisions) remain outside Pixorizon’s control. Work outside the defined scope requires a separate quote.
Review Follow-Up System — Optional $29 CAD/Month
The Review Follow-Up System is an optional service billed at $29 CAD per month, in advance, normally added after the one-time Google Profile + Review Setup. It includes simple automated review-request delivery, one follow-up reminder when appropriate, basic message customization, routine monitoring and maintenance, and light written support, subject to a reasonable-use allowance. It is month-to-month with no long-term commitment and may be cancelled before the next billing period; current billing periods are not automatically prorated.
The Review Follow-Up System does not create or guarantee reviews, ratings, rankings, inquiries, revenue, or any other business result. It is not unlimited-use. Unusually high messaging volume, custom integrations, or custom workflows may require a separate written quote. Service may be affected by third-party platform or messaging availability. The client remains responsible for lawful customer communications and obtaining appropriate consent.
Missed-Call Text Back — $49 CAD Setup + $59 CAD/Month
Missed-Call Text Back includes a one-time setup fee of $49 CAD and monthly coverage billed at $59 CAD per month, in advance. Setup covers one compatible business phone number and is subject to confirmation of phone-system compatibility. It includes a customized first-response text message, automatic text response after a missed call, a basic reply flow, lead or reply notifications, configuration, testing, routine technical maintenance, and basic message adjustments when reasonably required, subject to a reasonable-use messaging allowance. It is month-to-month with no long-term contract and may be cancelled before the next billing period.
Phone, carrier, messaging-provider, internet, and other third-party availability can affect operation, and exact message-delivery timing is not guaranteed. Missed-Call Text Back is not unlimited-use, is not an emergency dispatch service, and does not guarantee recovered calls, leads, booked jobs, sales, revenue, or any other business result. Excessive usage or advanced integrations may require a separate written quote. The client remains responsible for lawful communications and obtaining appropriate consent. Failed or overdue payments may result in suspension of the service.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to supply accurate information and the materials needed to complete the project in a timely way, to review and approve work within a reasonable time, to confirm that they have the rights to the images, logos, copy, and other content they provide, and to ensure that their content and use of the website are lawful. Domain registrations and any domain or DNS access needed for launch are the client’s responsibility.
Project Timing & Delays
Typical delivery is 7–10 business days after all required information and materials have been received; timing varies with project scope and client response times, and projects are scheduled on a reasonable basis according to studio capacity. Delays in supplying materials, feedback, approvals, or access delay delivery and, for the Managed Website, the Launch Date and the start of the free period. If a project is stalled by the client for 30 days or more after Pixorizon has requested what it needs, Pixorizon may pause the project and reschedule it according to studio capacity, or close it.
No Guarantees of Results
Pixorizon builds websites with a conversion-focused structure and offers the additional services described above, but does not guarantee search rankings, customer inquiries, reviews, ratings, recovered calls, leads, booked jobs, sales, revenue, or any other specific business result.
Acceptable Use & Intellectual Property
Websites may not be used for unlawful purposes or to publish content the client does not have the right to use. Pixorizon’s designs, code, reusable components, and working files remain Pixorizon’s protected intellectual property except where ownership is expressly transferred under the Custom Website plan or a written ownership-transfer agreement after full payment. Clients keep ownership of the materials they supply, as described under Managed Website above.
Third-Party Costs & Services
Domain registration and renewal, third-party software, platforms, licences, paid APIs, payment processors, messaging or phone providers, and similar third-party costs are the client’s responsibility unless Pixorizon expressly includes them in writing. Pixorizon may integrate third-party tools such as hosting, domains, form processing, or analytics platforms, and is not responsible for outages or issues caused by external providers.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixorizon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
Electronic Communication & Acceptance
Pixorizon works by email and written communication. The client agrees that notices, approvals, quotes, and agreements may be given and accepted electronically, including by email confirmation or electronic signature, and that electronic acceptance is as binding as a paper signature.
Privacy
How Pixorizon collects and uses personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to These Terms
Pixorizon may update these terms from time to time. The version date above shows the current version. Changes that affect an ongoing monthly service will be notified by email before they take effect.
